Computer Network Defense Analyst (CNDA)
What You'll Do
SpearPoint Engineering’s Computer Network Defense Analysts protect mission-critical systems against evolving cyber threats. Our CNDAs operate across enterprise and mission networks, identifying vulnerabilities, detecting malicious activity, and strengthening defensive postures to ensure operational continuity.

Working at the intersection of cybersecurity and mission operations, our analysts leverage diverse data sources to detect, analyze, and respond to cyber events while proactively hardening network environments against future threats.

Core Capabilities

Analyze data from intrusion detection systems, firewalls, network traffic logs, and host system logs to identify vulnerabilities and malicious activity

Detect, investigate, and respond to cyber incidents across enterprise and mission networks

Develop and recommend mitigations to strengthen network defenses and protect infrastructure devices and systems

Support and secure diverse transport environments, including wired and wireless networks, Wi-Fi, cellular, and collaborative platforms

Apply structured analytic methodologies to form hypotheses, query and correlate data, and derive actionable insights

Advance expertise across networking protocols, cloud security, IoT architectures, and modern defensive frameworks

Collaborate with government, military, and contractor partners to align defensive operations with mission priorities

Clearly document findings, tradecraft, and recommendations to inform stakeholders and decision-makers

Develop and deliver technically sound intelligence products that meet ICD 203 standards, incorporating proper sourcing, confidence assessments, alternative analysis, and analytic transparency

What is Needed

Relevant experience

TS/SCI with any type of polygraph
