Digital Network Exploitation Analyst (DNEA)

What You'll Do

As cyber threats continue to evolve, SpearPoint Engineering supports Cyber Network Operations (CNO) missions that demand precision, creativity, and technical depth. Our Digital Network Exploitation Analysts operate at the intersection of intelligence and engineering—turning complex data into mission-relevant insight.

Our DNEAs support Intelligence Community missions by analyzing, mapping, and understanding target networks to enable informed operational decision-making. They work across multiple layers of the OSI model, bringing deep knowledge of network infrastructure, communication protocols, traffic flows, and cybersecurity data to every engagement.

Core Capabilities

  • Evaluate target networks using multi-source intelligence to develop actionable insights and support exploitation planning

  • Analyze SIGINT and cybersecurity data across logical and physical network layers

  • Understand IP core infrastructure, routing, switching, and device interconnectivity

  • Develop and refine tradecraft as technologies, architectures, and adversary tactics evolve

  • Form and test analytic hypotheses by querying, enriching, correlating, and pivoting across large datasets

  • Document and communicate findings clearly to mission stakeholders and technical teammates

  • Collaborate closely with government, military, and contractor partners to align technical analysis with operational objectives

Our analysts combine curiosity, technical expertise, and disciplined methodology to stay ahead of emerging threats. At SpearPoint, DNEAs are not just data consumers—they are tradecraft developers and mission enablers.
